This is East LeRoy Robert Lee:
East was 19 years old when his body was discovered at Brueschke Lake north of Eagle Butte, South Dakota on October 20th, 2015. He was shot in the head and killed. Though the police reported several leads nothing has led to suspects being arrested or identified. Family believes that community members are withholding critical information to solve East's murder.
East was close with his mother and a star basketball player in high school. He was teaching his young son how to play golf at the time of his death. He fell into a rough patch in life during which he became dependent on methamphetamines and fell in with the wrong crowd. He had been living clean with plans to leave the area but his mother believes he was killed by someone he knew. The FBI is offering $10,000 for information in his case and East's murder remains unsolved.
