This is Janet Begaye:
Janet was 37 years old when her body was recovered from a canal near 32nd Street and McDowell in Phoenix, Arizona on July 5th, 2022. She dropped her children off with family that evening to go hang out with an unknown friend and had been shot and dumped in the canal. Her 2009 Chevy Imapala with Cardinals stickers and minor damage on both sides was stolen along with all of her personal belongings and her death was ruled a homicide. The vehicle remains missing.
Janet is mother to four children and is remembered as a "good person" and "beautiful soul" by family. They report that Janet was a homebody who rarely left Glendale, Arizona and would have little reason to be in Phoenix in the early morning hours. No arrests have been made in this case and Janet's murder remains unsolved.
