This is April Carpenter:
April was 23 years old when she was last seen alive at approximately 8:00pm on April 26th, 2018 near the Health Sciences Center in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Tragically, her remains were discovered on the shore of the Red River on May 16th of that year. Police say it's unclear how she died and family have told the media they don't believe she would have committed suicide.
April loved working with children and had aspirations of being a social worker. She was working on finishing her high school diploma at the time of her death. Family believes April loved her life and family and would not have harmed herself. Her death remains unsolved.
