This is Norma (Lorna) George:
Norma was of an unknown age when she and her sister were living in the notorious Downtown Eastside Vancouver, British Columbia on September 28th, 1992. Both of them were leading a "high-risk" lifestyle that included drug culture and survival sex work. The last conversation Norma and her sister, Ceejai, had was Norma encouraging her to get off the street and start a new life. 2 months later Norma would be found nude, in the fetal position and deceased.
Norma is originally from Takla Landing in British Columbia. Ceejai continues to speak out in memory of her sister and in the hopes of preventing further harm to Indigenous women in the region. No suspects have been named in this case. May Norma's memory be a blessing and may her family and community receive justice.
