Pernell Tewangiotewa, Missing from New Mexico since 1998.

This is Pernell Lloyd Tewangiotewa:



Pernell was 21 years old when he was last seen by his friends and sister at Gator Bar and Grill before the group left in separate cars in Farmington, New Mexico on May 29th, 1998. Pernell's sister rode with friends while he drover her 1988 Suburu Station Wagon and she assumed he was following them home. Pernell never arrived and the vehicle was later found badly burned about 5 miles northwest of Farmington in Choke Cherry Canyon. 

Pernell was attending a cosmetology school at the time he disappeared and lived with his sister in Bloomfield, New Mexico. He remains missing.

DOB: Unknown, circa 1977
Description: Pernell was between 5'11-6'2 and between 175-200 pounds at the time of his disappearance. He has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a light blue and white t-shirt, blue jeans, gold-toned glasses, and tennis shoes.

Tribal Information: Pernell is of Navajo and Hopi descent.
